Jesus called all Christians to be about "The Great Commission". Never has there been a time in this world, when being busy about the Lord's work is more important! As Christians, and especially those of us close to the age requirement for membership for AARP, we tend to take for granted that though we see this world changing for the worse, that children are still raised in a mostly Godly home. The world in which we live changes progressively, ever so slowly, little by little, day by day. This is why we don't see change until we stop and retrospectively look back on our life and world as it was then to now. This generation of children, born in recent years, will, for the most part, sadly grow up in families without any regard or knowledge of God's love and saving grace. As a church we need to use every technology media available to reach into these homes with the truth of God's hope, mercy, forgiveness, and life. This is just one area of being a good steward to the glory of the Lord. |
